I had this done today to possibly help me with my Fibromyalgia. Most painful experience of my life. I was in agony trying to stay still and endure it. Felt like someone was cutting me. Maybe in the long term the benefits will be good, but the actual experience was a far cry from relaxing.

It doesn’t burn at all. There’s no heat. You are only using the fire to create a vacuum within the cups. The cups themselves don’t get hot. The red bruises are actually blood moving to the surface of the skin. Cupping is used to increase circulation and relieve pain and stiffness.

I have a bad back due to an accident, I love cupping. I had it done today and my back looks terrible but I feel great. It helps muscle spasms and losens you up. When your having it done, it just feels like a tight suction. If you have a VERY low pain tolerance It might hurt but I enjoy the feeling. Very relaxing and worth it!
